February 2023 - Rastus Hsu

Our Designer of the Month for February is the incredible Rastus Hsu based in Taiwan.

While Rastus grew up spending countless hours in his mother’s yarn shop trying to mimic her movements, he didn’t learn to knit until 2013 when he started to design and sell lovely accessories in his local craft market. Rastus draws inspiration from architectural lines and nature’s beautiful colours. With a great passion for fashion and a talent for deeply textured textiles, Rastus designs visually satisfying geometric, origami-inspired modern knitwear.

The talented Rastus was featured in the Woolfolk Collection Winter 2020, amirisu’s Issue 24, Spring/Summer 2022, and participated in the Red Scarf 2022 eBook.
