SUPERWASH MERINO/BAMBOO - ONE BREATH AT A TIME

Old Maiden Aunt’s Merino/Bamboo is a springy fingering weight 4-ply yarn consisting of 80% Superwash Merino and 20% Bamboo fibers, a winning combination of luxury and practical durability.

The combination of superwash treated merino and strong and durable bamboo fibers results in a hardwearing yet bouncy skein hardy enough for socks but luxe enough for shawls or garments with a lovely drape and sheen.

Bamboo is a sustainable fibre with great strength and abrasion resistant qualities. It also absorbs moisture well and is breathable, perfect for socks as well as other breezy garments! We are proud to be Old Maiden Aunt’s exclusive retailer for Merino/Bamboo.

Old Maiden Aunt yarns are hand dyed in Scotland by Lilith in a small dye studio in her garden.
