WESTKNITS MYSTERY KNIT A LONG

The Westknits Mystery Knit A Long (or MKAL) is an annual mystery shawl knit-along hosted by Stephen West. Every year, thousands of knitters cast on a new shawl, not knowing what they'll end up with. When the MKAL kicks off in October you will receive one clue weekly for four weeks, until your mystery shawl is complete!

Stephen has curated a selection of exclusive MKAL kits for Stephen & Penelope. He's worked with some of our favourite hand-dyers to create palettes especially for this design, and this year, we're including a selection of knitting related goodies with your kit to maximise your MKAL fun.  Total price for the MKAL varies depending on what kit you select.  Kit prices include VAT (sales tax) but do not include shipping or a pattern download code.  The pattern will be available for purchase separately through Ravelry and Gumroad.

Please note that each MKAL kit ships with one "Forest Friends" needle gauge at random.  If you would like a set of all three friends, please add one to your purchase here

Are you a procrasti-knitter? Don't worry, it's never too late to join the Westknits MKAL party! Kits purchased after 30 September may not be delivered by the official cast-on date 9 October, but the MKAL Slipstravanganza fun keeps going all month long and beyond.

The initial clue will be released on 9 October through both Ravelry and Gumroad, pattern codes are not included with MKAL yarn sets.  Basic pattern information including needle sizes and gauge will be posted ahead of the first clue.
