Double-knitting makes this cowl by Zachary Wilder fully reversible, smooth, and comfortingly dense in chilly climes. This colourwork technique creates two faces of fabric at once, which might sound intimidating, but it’s very much like working a k1, p1 rib. So if you can already knit a simple hem, you’ll soon find yourself racing through this eye-popping cowl. Knit a whole fleet of Convoys to share, in the spirit of niche creative communities everywhere.

These four skein kits contain enough yarn for the cowl, and are inspired by the sample shown here.
