BYRE FINGERING - DUNGAREES

DESCRIPTION

Byre Fingering from Susan Crawford's A Room of My Own yarn line is a non-superwash fingering weight yarn, and is the little sibling to Barn DK. It is unique blend of British wools from Susan's Monkley Ghyll and nearby farms. This custom blend of Jacobs, and white and black Shetland has been worsted spun to create a stunning fingering weight yarn, perfect for garments, accessories and shawls. Byre is available in its natural light grey shade and overdyed in a range of coordinating shades.

With A Room of My Own yarns, Susan's goal is to showcase the native sheep breeds living on the moors, fells and hills of Yorkshire, Cumbria and Lancashire, sourcing fibre from local farmers, and to use the fleeces from the sheep raised at Monkley Ghyll Farm, where Susan and her family live. Barn and Byre are the first in a range of yarns blended and spun to her specifications. A new generation of knitters and crocheters will enjoy these wools from the heart of the British countryside.
