Shimo by ITO is a rustic wool silk blend produced on an old mule spinning system in Japan. The older-style mule spinner is particularly well suited to shorter fibre lengths and adds extra loft to the finished yarn. Shimo blends recycled silk fibre with a fine lambswool. The dyed fibres are mixed before carding, resulting in a beautiful subtle mélange.
Sold in a range of colours, this yarn will bloom more with washing, holds well when knitted alone and combines beautifully with other yarns as well.
