PAINTING DIAMONDS - GRAND CANAL

This elegant rectangular wrap features two skeins of the main colour framing three contrast colours. I-cord edges frame the perimeter of the shawl while slip stitches produce smooth diagonal lines for the diamond motif. This pattern is very easy to customise by binding off early for a shorter wrap or knitting more rows for a larger size. I featured La Bien Aimée Merino Super sock, a supremely lustrous blend of merino and nylon, but you can use any fingering weight yarn for this pattern. The drape is just divine for this classic wide rectangle shape.
