Play with graphic stripes and slipped stitches with this kit for Westknits fan-favourite, Rockefeller!
Rockefeller was originally published as the second Westknits Mystery Shawl in 2012. It is worked in four sections. The first section features short row wedges that form a crescent. Stitches are picked up in the second section and worked in stockinette stitch with yarn over shaping. Garter stitch intarsia stripes decorate this section. The bottom border in the third section is achieved with slipped stitches and finished with an I-cord bind off. The final wing tips are easy garter stitch stripes with I-cord edges to finish the architecturally inspired shawl.
Rockefeller is available as an individual pattern and is also published in Westknits Westknits 3: Shawl Evolution. The included Westknits Pattern Download Code can be used for any Westknits pattern of your choice on Ravelry!
