This kit is for the Turnrow shawl by Malia Mae which is published in Laine 52 Weeks of Shawls.

Turnrow is a simple, geometric linen shawl. The gauzy fabric and its clean draping lines make for an effortlessly simple summer layering piece. The pattern is intuitive and flows from the needles once it has been set up. Malia designed this shawl with linen in mind: the pared back shape and stitch pattern allow the nature of the fibre to shine through. We recommend knitting linen with a larger needle size than you might choose for wool. Linen isn’t elastic, so knitting it too tightly can be hard on your hands. Once your project is finished, scrunch it, wash it and handle it often: this will soften it up and enhance its beautiful drape. he more you handle it the softer it gets.
