Qing Fibre is a hand-dyed yarn studio founded by Layla (Qing) Yang out of a desire for colourways that express personality, joy, and artistic vision. What began with dyeing yarn in a small London flat quickly grew into a dedicated studio in London and, later, a second space in Beijing, reflecting the brand’s expanding creative journey.

Their fibres are carefully sourced from some of the world’s finest mills and then hand-dyed in small batches using vibrant, dreamy, and unconventional colourways that are as expressive as works of art.

Each collection starts with a mood board inspired by art, nature, and moments of beauty, and is developed through experimentation to achieve the right combination of hues and textures. Qing Fibre also creates original patterns that echo the same bold, creative spirit, encouraging makers to explore a braver, more playful side of their craft and to make projects that stand out with artistic flair.
