Stephen & Penelope is a wool boutique in the centre of Amsterdam. Since 2011, we've been supplying knitters, crocheters and makers all over the world with yarn and craft tools from our curated collection. In addition to our shop location on the Nieuwe Hoogstraat, we also have a thriving online business. E-commerce and Logistics Administrator

Do you have an interest or experience of knitting or crochet?

We are a retail boutique looking for full/part time order pickers/packers to work in our central Amsterdam based online sales shipping department. Minimum 32 hours.


  • Sorting incoming yarn shipments and checking purchase orders
  • Stock quality control
  • Liaising between different departments
  • Managing product in our inventory database
  • Picking and packing orders
  • Bringing yarn to/from our central Amsterdam store via bakfiets

Role requirements:

  • Proficient English (written and spoken)
  • Tidy, precise and detail oriented
  • Excellent communication & organisational skills
  • Happy with repetitive work that requires focus
  • Able to ride a cargo bike
  • Positive outlook, it’s a busy department!

    Important Information:

The gross wage for this role is €2360 per month
