About Us:
Nestled in the heart of Amsterdam, our vibrant yarn boutique is a haven for crafters and creators! We are on the lookout for enthusiastic full-time and part-time Sales Associates to join our fabulous team. What’s in it for you?

As a Sales Associate, you will:
- Delight our customers with exceptional service and expert knitting or crochet tips.
- Help maintain our welcoming, cosy atmosphere to make every visit special.
- Team up with fellow yarn enthusiasts to create a seamless, enjoyable shopping experience.
What We’re Looking For:
- Fluency in English (Dutch is a plus!).
- Intermediate knitting or crochet skills (show us what you’ve got!).
- Previous experience in retail, sales, or a customer-facing role.
- Comfortable with a physically active role: You will be on your feet all day, constantly moving, replenishing stock, and keeping the shop beautifully organised.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine love for connecting with people.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including at least one weekend day.
- Ideally available 4 or 5 days a week (minimum of 3 days required).

What We’re Looking For:
- Proven Track Record: Solid, extensive experience in retail, sales, or high-volume customer service roles.
- Crafting Expertise: Advanced knitting skills (and ideally strong crochet skills too)—you should feel confident troubleshooting complex patterns and guiding others.
- Exceptional Communicator: Fluency in English is required (Dutch is a big plus!). You are naturally great with people and possess strong problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable with a physically active role: You will be on your feet all day, constantly moving, leading stock replenishment, and keeping the shop beautifully organised.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including at least one weekend day.

As a Store Supervisor, you will work closely with the Assistant Manager and Store Manager to bring plans to life on the shop floor. You will:
- Lead the team during your assigned shifts, ensuring a positive, productive, and customer-focused working environment.
- Act as the first point of contact and guide for Sales Associates, providing real-time support and feedback.
- Delight our community with exceptional customer service, supporting them with product selection and crafting advice.
- Support the execution of daily sales goals, handle customer queries professionally, and oversee opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and POS use.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven Track Record: Solid experience in a retail environment; previous keyholder or supervisory experience is a major plus.
- Crafting Knowledge: Intermediate knitting knowledge is a must, alongside a genuine interest in crafting, fibers, and our product range.
- Operations & Tech: Confidence using POS systems, handling stock, managing inventory organisation, and staying organised under pressure.
- Comfortable with a physically active role: You will be hands-on and on your feet all day, leading stock replenishment and keeping the shop beautifully aligned with visual merchandising standards.
- Excellent Communicator: Fluency in English is required (Dutch is a big plus!). You are approachable, supportive, and proactive.
- Hours: Available for 32–38 hours per week in our Central Amsterdam store (please note: this is a fully in-store role).
