Are you team toe-up or cuff-down when it comes to knitting socks, and why?
Definitely team toe-up! I like the control it gives me over the fit and how I can adjust the length without worrying about running out of yarn.
What inspires the names and colour stories of your palettes?
What inspires the names and colour stories of your palettes?
Inspiration comes from many places — nature, art, emotions or music. Sometimes it’s a particular light or landscape, sometimes a mood we want to capture. We choose names that reflect the mood of each colour and also help customers get a good sense of the shade when viewing it online.
How did you first get into hand-dyeing yarn and what creative direction are you hoping to explore next?
How did you first get into hand-dyeing yarn and what creative direction are you hoping to explore next?
I began dyeing out of a personal desire to work with yarns that felt unique and full of depth. What started as a hobby quickly turned into a passion - and eventually, a full-time creative journey.
Next up, I’m excited to experiment with a collection of plant-based yarns - exploring how colour behaves on different non-wool fibres is something I find really inspiring.
