Malia Mae Joseph

Malia is a Samoan-American knitwear designer living in the Netherlands. As the founding partner of Stephen & Penelope she has spent well over a decade in the knitting and handcraft world as a purveyor as well as a consumer. 

Some of Malia's designs have been published in Pom Pom Quarterly and with Laine Publishing. She has also worked on mini collections with her friend and business partner, Stephen West. In 2022, Malia designed one of the patterns for the Westknits Yarn Along, a yarn and pattern subscription offered annually from Stephen & Penelope.
