Ramie silk is a yarn from Mominoki Yarn. The blend of soft wool and shiny silk is reinforced with ramie. This is a plant based fibre from East Asia that has been harvested by humans for more than 6000 years and is famous for its strength, even when wet. This results in a perfectly polyamide free yarn that is strong enough for socks. The skeins are then hand dyed with Mominoki's signature solid palette in Germany.
