HKAL 2020 - WINTER LIGHTS & WOVEN CHEVRONS

Winter Lights was the first Westknits Hiberknitalong Shawl in 2011, launching a brand new era of Westknits KALS! 2020 had not one but two Hiberknitalong shawls! The Woven Chevrons Shawl is a graphic, sideways-knit design that starts at the small corner and increases toward the wide edge. I-cord edges frame the shawl as slip stitches create bold, geometric lines. The pattern repeat is easy to memorise, making it a relaxing knit, and you can customise the size by knitting more repeats. Using one main colour and three contrast colours, this shawl allows you to play with striking colour combinations, resulting in a woven effect that’s both modern and eye-catching.
