Meet Our Second YAL 2026 Dyer: Stephen and Malia of West Wool!
We are beyond excited to include our very own HEX hand-dyed merino base for this years Yarn A Long adventure. Its no secret that we absolutely love colour, and to have the opportunity to create our own shades for all of you to enjoy is a dream come true!
This year's YAL, we are debuting six new stunning West Wool HEX colour-ways to complement our existing palette. When we design new shades we see each colour like a trusty companion that can mix, blend and contrast beautifully with the rest of the West Wool palette.
When you embark on the Cool colour adventure, you will discover a lush, contrasting green palette that will make your mind wander towards wilderness adventures. The Warm colour adventure brings three juicy semi-solid shades for lovers of shocking pinks and plum purples harmonising beautifully in the June YAL shawl.When we created our original 50 hand-dyed shades, choosing the final 50 was no small feat so we’ve been eagerly awaiting the moment we could expand it. These colours are exclusive to the YAL for now, but when they eventually join the full collection, they’ll open up even more colourful popportunities for mixing, matching, and knitting your own adventure.
