QING FIBRE

Layla Qing first introduced a virtual explosion of colourful yarns in 2016. Having been uninspired by the yarns available at the time, she set about dyeing her own.

Soon she developed her signature colours and founded the exceptionally creative dyehouse Qing Fibre. Originally Layla attended art school and trained as a landscape designer. Today she runs Qing Fibre in South London with a team of like-minded creatives where they take great pride in dyeing each skein of yarn, making every one of them unique. Inspired by colour everywhere, Layla and her dye team work together using their eye for detail to create variegated ombrés and intense speckles which are a joy to look at. They pursue creative dyeing techniques and unique colours that have us constantly wowed. Qing Fibre release their yarns on 15 different bases sourced ethically from Peru and England.
