Växbo Lin are lovers of all things linen, including a beautiful yarn! Based in Hälsingland in Sweden, the climate is perfect for cultivating flax - an integral part of the region's cultural heritage.

To preserve this as well as boosting the local economy, a group of ten villagers started Växbo Lin in 1990. Fascinated by how a small factory in the forest could produce such beautiful things, Hanna, who used to be a tour guide at the factory, dreamed of taking over the company some day and in 2006 did just that. Their colours and patterns and inspired by the local area, folk culture, and nature so whatever you end up creating will have a little bit of Hälsingland magic.
