Our designer of the month for December is the brilliant Anna Strandberg who lives in Stockholm, Sweden.
Previously a full time indie yarn dyer, Anna wanted her yarns to be featured in magazines so she naturally started designing her own patterns. Anna describes her design style as queer, menswear for women. As a lover of minimalistic clothing, Anna rather remove details than adding more but keeps an interesting twist to her knitwear.
Luna, Anna's first design, was featured in the popular Moon issue of PomPom magazine. She since then has been published in 52 Weeks of Shawls and Issue 16 of Laine Magazine.
Even when she is not lost into yarn, Anna stays deeply creative as she works as a graphic designer and sometimes photographer, drawing inspiration from every aspect of her life.
