Alice Hoyle is an English knitwear designer based in Amsterdam. After studying and working in knitwear, she launched her own knitwear platform, ROWS, in 2021.
Alice creates detailed hand-knit and crochet patterns focusing on exploring stitch and colour. She draws inspiration from patterns and texture in everyday life, as well as from second-hand, vintage, woven textiles and art.
Through ROWS, she hopes to connect people with the vast possibilities of knitting, encouraging others to try stitches and discover different ways of knitting. Alice published her first knitting book in 2024, celebrating her patterns and journey with ROWS so far.
