June 2025 - Summer Lee

Before sock knitting took over her life, Summer worked as a political reporter, commercial photographer, full-time mom, and waaaaay back when she was 16, as a crew member at the World's Largest McDonald's. Summer currently lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma with her husband Dave, two teens, and her dog/soulmate Beesly. COLOUR is her biggest inspiration when it comes to design! Almost all of Summer's ideas spring forth from some unusual combination that catches her eye in her yarn stash. 

When Summer's not obsessively knitting socks, she's working her way through her ever-growing pile of new books, injuring her knees on ill-considered scrambles up rocky cliffs, or listening to 90's grunge while stuck in traffic as she drives her teens around town.
