Mominoki Yarn is a Berlin‑based indie yarn brand founded in 2017 by Chihiro, whose lifelong love of colour led her to begin hand‑dyeing yarn in her kitchen and share those vibrant creations with the world. The name Mominoki, meaning “fir tree” in Japanese, reflects the brand’s ethos of strength, endurance, and timeless craft, much like the natural landscapes that inspire its palettes.
Mominoki specialises in beautifully hand‑dyed yarns made from natural fibres sourced from Germany, Finland, and other parts of Europe. Each skein is carefully prepared, dyed, and finished by hand in their Berlin studio, with meticulous attention to even colour and quality.
