Join Stephen at the shop for an inspiring workshop all about shawl shapes. In this 3-hour workshop, Stephen will share his evolution of top-down shawl designs and guide you through some mini shawl swatches.
This workshop is great for adventurous beginners and beyond.
Bring some fingering weight yarn and circular needles in size US 4 / 3.5mm and dive into the world of Westknits shawls! Stephen will also provide other beautiful yarns and colours for you to try.
You will learn how to…
- Knit and modify top-down shawl shapes using Stephen's shape recipes
- Create triangle and semi-circle shawls
- Work several different increases
- Customise the shawl shapes with different stitches and colourful stripes
