I CAN KNIT MYSELF FLOWERS PATTERN

What if a knitted fade can be achieved using textured stitches instead of the typical striped blending? This is where I Can Knit Myself Flowers began, with this challenge. With each textured stitch, the colours change progressively from light to dark with a striking nuance that comes to a crescendo at the border. The various patterns use slip stitches, increases, decreases, and double yarn overs combined with cable stitches to create interest - and keep you interested in knitting! Use three skeins of fingering weight yarn in a close fade to get the textured fade look, or get creative with contrasting colours!
