Pattern details

Choose four colours of DK weight yarn and begin the blanket in the centre as you increase toward the border. Bubble stitches and slip stitches form the blossoming colourwork motifs. These stitches are easy to knit and create a big, colourful impact. Short rows and wavy stripes complete the border of this large blanket. It’s the perfect size for a cosy couch blanket or a lovely decorative work of art for your bed. The pattern includes several video links to assist with techniques like casting on, knitting the bubble stitch, short rows, knitting stripes, and weaving in ends.
