This free knitting pattern uses Worsted weight yarn scraps and US6/4mm circular needles. You will need 125 y / 115 m for Colour A and 100 y / 92 m for Colour B as well as a tapestry needle for working in ends. If you want to make tassels for the ends of the ties, you will also need a large scissor, extra yarn, and a piece of cardboard or a tassel maker.
Pattern Description: Hesh is a variation of a traditional German/Scandinavian pixie-shaped hat modified for grown ups. The cap is knitted on the bias with perfectly fitted ear flaps, icord ties and tassles, making for a devilish little accessory. This quick hat is a last-minute gift-knitter’s dream for any occasion!
