Choose five contrasting colours of fingering-weight yarn to knit this large semi-circular shawl. The fabric is filled with fun stripes and slip stitches that form the geometric columns, checks, and triangles. Simple textures like ribbing, seed stitch, and garter stitch provide lots of relaxing rows to enjoy as you anticipate each new colourful stripe. The constantly shifting colours and textures make this project very addicting to knit. I used high-contrast semi-solid and lightly speckled colours from Mominoki yarn for my shawl to emphasise the crisp architectural lines. Splashy speckles would also look really fun in this design for a more painterly effect.

Due to the nature of hand-dyed yarn and yarn dyed in batches, there may be some variation in colour between skeins. We take great care in photographing our yarns accurately, but some colours may vary slightly from the picture.

98″ / 249cm wingspan length, 29″ / 74cm from CO to BO edge measured along the centre of the shawl. Measurements taken after blocking. The length is customisable.
