This free knitting pattern uses 115 y / 105 m of sock yarn (about 25 grams) and US1.5-2.5 (2.5 - 3.0) mm dpns or circular needles as well as a tapestry needle for working in ends. It is only in one size, for 3-6 months but could easily be sized up or made in a thicker yarn.
Pattern Description: A super duper easy baby hat using any typical sock yarn. You only need to know how to cast on, bind off, knit, purl, and decrease to make this cute cap. It’s only made in one size, but could be easily made larger. Use up scraps for a cute striped effect, or use a self striping yarn like Zauberball by Schoppel Wol. Because of its washability, this little hat is the perfect gift for a new baby.
