Stony Stream Shawl

Enjoy relaxing rows of cabled slip stitches and stony textures throughout this triangular shawl. Begin at the corner as you stripe two colours of fingering-weight yarn. Increases at the edge expand the fabric toward the wide border. You can easily customise the size by knitting fewer pattern repeats for a smaller shawl or knit more pattern repeats for a large size. This textural slip stitch pattern echoes the meandering waves and ripples of a stream for a relaxing and repetitive process. Choose two skeins of a main colour combined with two balls of a self-striping yarn like Schoppel Wolle’s Zauberball Crazy.
