SUPERSOFT - TOBACCO

Supersoft from Holst Garn is a pure wool, non-superwash fingering weight yarn. This is a very versatile 2-ply wool yarn, of a Merino wool and Shetland wool blend making it an excellent choice for both knitting and crocheting projects. Originating in Australia and New Zealand, this is a mulesing free yarn. The Shetland wool gives Supersoft a slightly rustic texture much beloved for colourwork patterns as it helps stitches adhere to each other and make a crisp, uniform fabric.

We stock Supersoft in a variety of both bright, bold colours and softer neutral shades so whatever your next project, this is a fantastic choice. Holst Garn Coast contains a bit of spinning oil and excess dye. These will disappear with the first wash, and the yarn will bloom and become beautifully soft. For this reason, we strongly recommend washing and blocking your gauge swatch before starting your project.
