Originally part of Westknits' very first Surprise Sock Along, the Contrast Blast Socks celebrate the gorgeous textures you can achieve with only two colours. Simple cables, slip stitches, and even a broken rib section for the toe produce a sock that will be the centre piece of any outfit.

6.5 (8, 9.5, 10.5, 12)″ / 17 (20, 24, 27, 30)cm leg and foot circumference. Measurements taken after blocking. These are the measurements of the sock.

This sock pattern was for the first Westknits Surprise Sock Along 2023. You can now download all of the instructions to knit these beautifully detailed socks. They are knit top-down with simple cables, stripes, slip stitches, and lots of crispy texture! Even the toes feature a lovely broken rib detail. Each section includes video tutorials linked in the pattern to help you confidently treat your toes to warm and woolly stitches.
