Yucca is a knitwear designer with a passion for yarn, knitting, and of course—cats! She studied garment making and textiles at Bunka Women’s University in Japan, where she built a strong foundation in hand knitting. After working in publishing and bookselling, she discovered English-language knitting patterns in 2010 and became completely hooked! Their unique style compared to Japanese patterns fascinated her, leading her to teach herself the format and begin designing stunning hand-knit garments. Today, Yucca collaborates with hand-dyed yarn artists, yarn brands, and local yarn shops while occasionally contributing to magazines and books.
