Our Designer of the Month for January is Denise Bayron. She a designer and pattern-maker whose work spans the fiber arts to include knitting, sewing, crochet and macrame. Her work has been widely recognised and she has been featured in and collaborated with brands such as Nordstom, New York Magazine, Martha Stewart, Better Homes and Gardens, and more.
Our December Designer of the Month is Weichien Chan, who publishes under thepetiteknitter. Weichien is a size inclusive knitwear designer who lives in the Arctic Archipelago. Her designs heavily feature beautiful colourwork elements.
Our November Designer of the Month is Handmade by Kunbi. She is a UK based designer and whether your preferred craft is knitting or crochet Kunbi has it covered from cosy knits to squishy crochet projects you're bound to find your perfect next project from skirts to tops and cowls to hats there's something for whatever you're in the mood for.
Tif Neilan is our October Designer of the Month and her designs have us excited for sweater season! Tif is a knitwear designer living in Connecticut with her husband and two daughters. Before designing knitwear Tif worked in Interior Design nearly 15 years. She loves to play with colour in her designs as well as mixing in different textures.
Our Designer of the Month for September is Xandy Peters. They are a knitting designer and teacher best known as the innovator of the stacked stitch technique which can be seen in their Fox Paws pattern.
Meet Midori Hirose, our July Designer of the Month. Midori is originally from Japan and she now lives in Northern Germany. Midori loves to knit light sweaters with soft textures and drapey fabric – she loves to offer options for her patterns often having samples knit in different fibres or including modifications so there can be something to suit every body.
Our June Designer of the Month is Cecilia Losada from MammaDIY. Originally fromCórdoba Argentina, Cecilia now lives in Barcelona, Spain and is a designer of knit and crochet patterns and the host of the popular Spanish-language MammaDIY YouTube channel.
Orlane is a knitting designer who lives in the North of France with her partner and their two daughters. Like many crafters, she learned to knit from her grandmother when she was a child, but she says the craft finally became serious for her when she realised that knitting is a super power!

Designer of the Month for September 2020 is Shin Knudsen - Shinysuperhero Shin Knudsen, also known as shinysuperhero, is a Danish crafter. She was taught to knit as a child by a family friend and, after taking a break from knitting in her teens, picked up her needles again in her mid-twenties.
Rebecca McKenzie is the knitwear designer and creator of the Raging Purlwind brand. The brand grew out of Rebecca’s desire to create clothes that would fit her body rather than trying to make her body fit into her clothes.
Noma Ndlovu is a knitwear designer based in Johannesburg, South Africa. She has been knitting since she was five years old and was fortunate to be born into a family that valued creativity and taught her a lot at such a young age.
