DYER PROFILE: WALK COLLECTION

Walk Collection is one of our staple yarns at Stephen & Penelope who we’ve loved collaborating with and we just can’t get enough of their bright and vibrant shades. We are so excited to share the beautiful palettes we’ve put together in their gorgeously silky soft and dreamy yarn for this year’s MKAL. 

Cathrin is the wonderful dyer behind Walk Collection, which began as a humble project in Cathrin’s kitchen before growing into the amazing business that we know and love today. Now a team of five, Cathrin thrives on the positive energy of her team that has become like family, and is constantly inspired to continue fulfilling her dream of creating beautiful yarn and meeting fibre enthusiasts from around the world. Cathrin is an all-round creative, as in addition to dying yarn she spins, weaves, crochets, latch-hooks, macramés, and of course knits! Walk Collection make sure all of the yarn they dye is of the highest quality and are environmentally conscious, striving to conserve energy, water, and paper to provide crafters with the best materials and colours possible.
