Named after the Celtic goddess for fertility and sovereignty, Ériu is on a mission to celebrate and rejuvenate the Irish wool industry. Their story began upon the birth of Zoë's daughter. Her grandmother, Kitsy gifted her a home made blanket made from merino. Wanting to make version from wool grown closer to home, she discovered the growing community of small sustainable farmers who strive to reclaim their cottage industry heritage, producing new sheep breeds and blends as they go. When she met co-founder Lionel, a Wicklow farmer with years of experience in the business world, Ériu was created! They hope to inspire a world of makers at every step from farm to yarn!
