Pattern details

This plush shawl is knitted with one strand of wool held together with one strand of lace weight mohair silk. Cast on and work single colour brioche with increases to gradually expand the size. A decrease is added to create a biased detail in the fabric. The rhythmic rows are very relaxing to knit. Maximise the size by knitting as many repeats as you like or simply bind off early for a smaller size. You can hold one strand of fingering weight and one strand lace weight mohair for a lightweight version or knit a winter weight version with one strand DK weight held together with one strand lace weight mohair.
