This month, we're excited to introduce Sophia Wintermans as our August Designer of the Month. Based in Amsterdam, Sophia is a talented crochet designer who revitalises vintage patterns, particularly those from the colourful 60s and 70s.
To bring these vintage patterns to life, it was important to Sophia to ensure that they were size inclusive, easy-to-read, and using her favourite yarns! With these goals in mind, Sophia works with her graphic design father to make her patterns visually clear and adjustable for all sizes!
Her designs are known for their summery, open-structured patterns. While she sometimes knits, Sophia prefers the freedom and multidirectional nature of crochet.
