MARCH 2022 - SOLÈNE LE ROUX

Our Designer of the Month for March is Solène Le Roux, they are a knitwear designer and hosts knitting retreats in the South-West of France.

Solène's love of knitting came from their mother who taught them to knit as a child. Their grandmother was a professional seamstress and passed on the joy of making clothes and the value that can be found through the act of making. 

We love how playful Solène's designs are, from glorious cables to stunning colourwork you'll be able to find designs to love within their collection. Solène's designs are often inspired by nature and they are passionate about encouraging knitters to pause, connect and grow within their craft as an act of radical self care. 

When Solène isn't designing or hosting workshops you will find them renovating a gorgeous old house with their partner Tom not only to turn it into their home but also a stunning centre for future retreats.
