In her eighth published book, Susan Crawford celebrates a range iconic women, from authors to activists with this enchanting collection of designs. The book covers a range of techniques for knitters of all skill levels. With a range of garments and accessories including sweaters, mittens, and a tie, each one of the 24 patterns was selected to tell a story that echoes throughout the book.

Susan Crawford lives on a small farm in Lake District. Along side designing knitwear and writing, she dyes and sells her own collection of yarn, A Room of My Own.
