January 2026 - Klara Cecilia

Klara Cecilia is an independent knitwear designer based in Gothenburg, Sweden. She discovered knitting in March 2020 and quickly fell in love with the creative possibilities of the craft. In January 2021, she released her first pattern and began her journey as a pattern designer.

Klara’s aesthetic centres on bold, memorable statement pieces - garments that stand out far beyond anything you might find in a typical clothing store. She specialises in colourwork sweaters featuring playful and striking animal prints. What she loves most about colourwork is its versatility: the yarns and colour combinations you choose can completely transform the personality of a piece, making every finished sweater truly one of a kind.

Although Klara holds a master’s degree in law and currently works full-time in the public sector, designing knitting patterns remains a passion she nurtures alongside her career. Her dream is to one day dedicate herself fully to knitwear design.
