CONTRAST BLAST HAT

Choose two contrasting colours of DK weight wool to knit this cosy hat. The pattern begins with 2x2 ribbing that flows into a slanted cable. Stripes and slip stitches form the graphic zig zag design. Use two high contrast colours of DK weight wool for a bold colour pop effect or create a subtle shadow effect with two similar tones and a lower contrast. This hat makes a great gift project with crisp clean lines that are fun to knit!

Sizes: Small [Medium, Large]

Finished Measurements: 19 [21.5, 24]″ / 48 [55, 61]cm head circumference, 8.5″ / 22cm tall from brim edge to the top of the hat when the brim is folded. Measurements taken after blocking.

Medium size is shown on a 22.5″ / 57cm head circumference.I recommend achieving a finished hat circumference that is 1 or 2 inches (2.5 – 5cm) smaller than your actual head
circumference.
