Choose eight or four colours of fingering-weight yarn to knit this top-down shawl inspired by the landscapes of Iceland. The semi-circle shape begins with easy garter stitch stripes. Then, the colours mix and mingle in a syncopated brioche section. There is also a simple seed stitch non-brioche option to follow. The garter stitch stripes provide a relaxing and meditative quality, so you can enjoy your beautiful colours. All eight shades weave in and out of each other in a woven slip stitch motif. The final border features a mountainous short row section flowing into wavy eyelets. This colourful shawl is ideal for eight 50g skeins of West Wool Bicycle, or four 100g skeins of Hex. Channel your favourite natural landscape into a collage of stripes and wrap yourself in colourful stitches.
