Choose four colours of fingering-weight yarn like West Wool HEX to knit this top-down garter stitch shawl. Short rows with increases and decreases form the topographic wavy lines throughout the fabric. The relaxing garter stitch rows are framed with smooth I-cord edges, making this project soothing to knit and interesting with the short row shaping. Gather a gradient of four colours to create a smooth, flowing crescendo of colour. One skein (100g) is more than enough to knit a four-colour version like the turquoise sample.

When purchasing one of our kits, colour variation may occur across yarns that are hand-dyed. We take great care in photographing our kits and yarns accurately, however colours may vary slightly from the pictures.

The relaxing garter stitch rows are framed with smooth I-cord edges, making this project soothing to knit and interesting with the short row shaping. Gather a gradient of four colours to create a smooth flowing crescendo of colour or make a scrappy stashbusting version with a different color for every stripe. There are 12 total colour sections, so feel free to customise the colors however you like. One 100g skein for each colour as shown above is more than enough to knit a four-colour version like the turquoise sample.
