DESCRIPTION
Choose four colors of a fingering weight yarn like West Wool HEX to knit this top-down garter stitch shawl. Short rows with increases and decreases form the topographic wavy lines throughout the fabric. The relaxing garter stitch rows are framed with smooth I-cord edges, making this project soothing to knit and interesting with the short row shaping. Gather a gradient of four colors to create a smooth flowing crescendo of color or make a scrappy stashbusting version with a different color for every stripe. There are 12 total color sections, so feel free to customize the colors however you like. One 100g skein for each color as shown above is more than enough to knit a four-color version like the turquoise sample.
