If you fell in love with the dip stitch, slip stitch and faded fun during the 2023 Mystery Knit Along, this blanket is for you! Inspired by the Geogradient Shawl, this square blanket is a colourful collage of stripes and textures. The blanket begins with a crochet granny followed by garter stitch and eyelet stripes. As the blanket grows larger with increases at each of the four corners, a beautiful zig-zag slip stitch pattern is introduced, producing a woven effect. The final border features all four colours with a dip stitch technique. We have several four colour kits in delicious DK to choose from!

About the pattern

The blanket begins with a crochet granny square, followed by garter stitch and eyelet stripes. As the blanket grows larger with increases at each of the four corners, a beautiful zig-zag slip stitch pattern is introduced, producing a woven effect. The final border features all four colours with a dip stitch technique. Enjoy creating this special DK weight blanket with woolly yarns like West Wool Tandem.
